Sound Animation and Computer Animation Progress!

Here is the second post that I promised today! I started working on a sound animation yesterday for animation two. I was able to finish the key frames today and started some of the rough, though I plan on going back and redoing alot of the first part.

Since there is some morphing involved with the key's and some inbetween's. We had to have six to seven models complete by the end of this week. Luckily I was able to get most of them done, but the last one which I've been having a little trouble with. But I plan on talking to my teacher was it tomorrow.

This first part is the keyframes from last night, I plan on putting this on youtube sometime tomorrow.

These are the key frames that I was able to finish in class today.

This last part is the beginning of the rough, as I said earlier I plan on going back and doing a clean up of the beginning since it's so sloppy. I hope to finish this by tomorrow night or Saturday afternoon.

For this week in computer animation we were asked to have at least 5 to 7 models done of our environment by Friday. I did a lot of the interior of the room this time around.

This first one is the side wall of the room that includes a window. This will go on the left of the interior of the castle room.

The walls of the room are mostly made out of these two types of wooden like doors. So I modeled out both of them and plan on coping them all around the room to make up most of the walls.

There is a small table in the front of the room, its not going to be seen very much and it tiny. But here it is, luckily this didn't take too long.

The right side of the room has this old fire place that is kinda weird. I only can find so many picture of it, since its an old room in a castle in Ireland. But I did the best guess work that I could.

The last one isn't completely finished so I won't be posting it up here but I plan on adding it to the models on the next blog post. I've started putting a lot of the walls pieces into a bigger environment to try and get something together as a whole. Some things are off and I plan on going back to them later.

Here is a little of the room so far, I'm going to be working on it more in the upcoming weeks. Well until next week later!

Character Weight Animation

I'm a little late with posting as of late, things have been a little crazy. But I'm planning on making at least two post tonight. This one will show the animation that I did for class last week, which was the character weight. For animation two we had to have a character lifting a box and then a fridge. Below I will show how it was done from the key frames to the finished rough.

Here is the first of the key frames.

Some of the rough progress after the finished key frames.

The rough just before it was finished, I showed my teacher and was told to fix a little of the middle with the feet placement.

This is the final version of the character weight for animation two, I tried to fix some of the things from my last one. But I think I might have messed it up worse. The legs in the middle of the walk cycle to the fridge almost look like there sliding.

That's it until the next post! Where I will post the beginning of my sound animation and my recent progress with computer animation! Later!

Falling Masses Animation and Environment Models.

This is a day late but we worked on this falling masses for animation two. Where we had to have four objects falling at the same time, a egg, feather, water balloon, and bowling ball. Below is the planning stage and some beginning of the rough.

This next one is the finished version of the four falling masses, where the water balloon bounces. The egg breaking, the bowling ball hits the ground first and the feather falling last.

This is some of the progress on my environment for computer animation, we were told to model least three items by Friday. So I worked on a chair, a frame and a pot. The pot needs to be fixed or possibly re done, depending on what I can do tonight. The same can be said for the legs on the chair as well, I plan on working  more on these models over the weekend.

I have three more models that will be started and worked on over the course of the week by Friday. More on Monday!

Ratcliffe is done! Onto The Next Adventure!

I finally turned in Ratcliffe today, he's fully colored and everything. We got to start working on a new assignment today, that has to do with falling masses. We have to have a egg, water balloon, bowling ball and a feather all falling at the same time. But they each have to fall that there own separate rate.

This is the final Ratcliffe, colored version that I turned in today. I went back and changed a lot of it from the last post. One of the animation teachers here was kind enough to point out a couple of major things that needed fixing. Later that same night I went to the labs and did such that.

This one is the final clean up that I had fixed not too shortly. After having to completely re rough out the telescope  but it was completely worth it.

This is something that I had just started today, so it's still in the planning stage. But I plan on having it roughed out and finished by Thursday morning.

Then last and not least, since we just started working on our environments for computer animation. We were told that we had to have three things modeled out by Friday  So far I'm in the progress of having two of them about half way done. I'm planning on starting the third one tomorrow morning.

This is the chair that I'm currently working on, there are three chairs. Like this in the room, once this one is done I plan on copying it and knocking though's out of the way.

Second item on the list this wasn't as hard as I thought, I now really just have a get a few more. Of the general shapes in there and I should be good to go into the third item.

Well that's it for now, this post is a day late or two but I plan on updating again on Thursday with the falling masses progress animation until then!
